The Run For A Reason Charity Program presented by Ahansal Events is for passionate race participants willing to fundraise and raise awareness for meaningful causes.

Ahansal Events supports local charitable organizations by donating 50 Euro for every new runner registered. In Addition, charity runner are eligible to give extra amount of money for the organizations.
Amrad Zagora Development Association, the organization behind Trans Sahara Marathon Morocco visited the Boutyouss region, a little village located in the south of zagora.
We have been through countless meetings with kids, parents and child’s form teacher, we find out the education is a major problem in the Boutyouss region, we have established different long- and short-term projects to ensure better scholarship of each child from the region and encouraging them to return to school and consequently fighting against school dropout in the region.
Moreover, Ahansal Events planning to establish in the near future another school for Boutyous women’s. Our unique approach then helps parents and teachers to create sustainable, effective schools and to nurture their children’s learning.
Ait Bouguemez valley sits in the northern reaches of the High Atlas mountains.
Back in 2018, Ahansal Events was an solidarity with the school École Vivante on Ait Bougemmez Vally.
For each registration, 50 euros was giving away as a donation to the school and educational center “campus vivant’e” of Ait Bouguemez. The money raised will be directly given to Sir Haddou Mouzon and his wife Itto, the founders of the project.
Bivouac Ahansal received 100 Palm trees saplings, which has been planted out by the participants.
The idea behind planting palm trees is to clean out the dark spots of the desert (areas loaded with trash and plastic garbage), and keep our planet clean, beautiful and healthy!
Ahansal Events also taking care of the tree you’ve planted until you come back next year!
Since the Run For A Reason Charity Program presented by Ahansal Events started in 2009, over €56,000 EURO has been raised by tens of thousands of runners on different local charities.
